With earlier diagnosis and more effective treatments, the American Cancer Society expects the number of cancer survivors to climb nearly 40 percent over the next decade. But cancer patients, while thankful for life saving treatments, are often living with side effects including chronic pain, fatigue and other disabilities. South County Physical Therapy Launches Their STAR Program® as Part of the Statewide Cancer Rehabilitation Initative in Massachusetts

The certification qualifies South County PT to offer the STAR Program, a state-of-the-art cancer rehabilitation program that will help survivors recover from the side effects and aftereffects of treatments. STAR Program Certification is part of a statewide initiative currently taking place in Massachusetts.
