Catherine started South County Physical Therapy in 1985 as a way to fulfill her dream of how she felt patients should be cared for. Since opening the doors, the practice has been through multiple renovations and expansions creating the South County Physical Therapy of today with locations in Auburn, Westborough, Worcester, and Charlton, Massachusetts.
Catherine prides herself in being an active member of the community as demonstrated by her participation in the Chamber of Commerce, community fundraisers, and by providing internship and mentoring opportunities to high school and college students. Catherine continues to care for patients in Auburn, Westborough and Worcester. She attends numerous courses each year to maintain and develop her skills. Her diverse clinical skills include extensive manual therapy training utilizing the methods of Cyriax, Maitland, Paris and Mulligan, visceral mobilization, myofacial and craniosacral therapies, functional training and rehabilitation, specialized treatment techniques for the care of women's health issues, and incorporating Yoga and Pilates into Physical Therapy care. She also specializes in Dance Medicine providing a thorough assessment of a dancer.
Eric is 1999 graduate of the Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at Boston University. In 2007 he became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a Titleist Performance Institute Certified Golf Fitness Instructor. His clinical interests include the care of runners and tri-athletes. He is also involved in the rehabilitation and training of golfers who have undergone Total Knee, Hip and Shoulder Replacement Surgery.
Dr. Creedon is a graduate of Boston University's Sargent College. He earned both a Masters Degree in orthopedic physical therapy and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions. In his 30 plus years of clinical experience Dr. Creedon has worked in private practice, hospital and home care settings. The majority of his experience has been in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions such as low back pain.
Dr. Stoddard is a graduate of University of Massachusetts at Lowell's Doctor of Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology programs in 2003 and 2000, respectively. Last year Ryan achieved his national board certification through the American Physical Therapy Association as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. He has been actively involved for the last 10 years in strength and conditioning and sports performance enhancement for athletes and patients of all ages. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. The majority of his clinical work in the last decade has been at South County, in out-patient orthopedics utilizing Manual Therapy, the New England Baptist Spine Program, Sole Supports custom foot orthoses, and return to sports and fitness at the Westborough Tennis and Swim Club.
