WORCESTER _ South County Physical Therapy, Inc. (SCPT) recently participated in the Fourth Annual Worcester Women’s Leadership Conference, which was presented by the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce and held on June 7, 2013 at the DCU Center, Worcester. As a local wellness organization committed to education and support regarding women’s issues, the staff at SCPT knew this conference was in perfect alignment with its core beliefs.

“We were thrilled to be able to be a part of this very important conference that showcases women and their abilities, issues, and concerns,” said Cathy Hoover-Smith, CEO and Founder of SCPT. “As one of the vendors at the conference, we were able to network and connect with a variety of individuals all of whom were there for the same cause. It was truly remarkable.”

SCPT offers programs for women that address issues such as: dance medicine, oncology rehabilitation and pelvic floor rehabilitation, which may result from pregnancy and postpartum issues.

“At SCPT, we offer programs for both men and women; however, we do recognize there are certain issues unique to women.  SCPT remains focused on offering all of our patients the treatment they need, coupled with the privacy and respect they deserve,” Hoover-Smith said.
