WESTBOROUGH _ South County Physical Therapy, Inc. (SCPT) was “open for business” at the recent Corridor Nine Business EXPO, held on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at the DoubleTree Hotel in Westborough. With two locations within the town of Westborough (and four additional Central Massachusetts locations nearby), SCPT’s team of skilled therapists and experts felt right at home, surrounded by a crowd representing more than 1,300 business colleagues, friends, and fellow Corridor Nine Chamber members.
“The Corridor Nine’s Open for Business EXPO is one of our favorite business events,” said SCPT Executive Director Eric Cardin. “There was an exciting buzz at this year’s EXPO. Our team always sees familiar faces, and we look forward to meeting new patients there each year.”
Admission to the Open for Business EXPO 2015 was free for attendees; only a business card was required to meet more than 100 exhibitors during the 4-hour, power-packed event.
“Corridor Nine Business Expo boasts a wide variety of exhibitors, and SCPT has been a participant for many years,” said Corridor Nine President Karen Chapman. “I appreciate their loyal support of this annual event, and I am thrilled we are able to showcase their business along with the over 100 businesses from the region.”
As a respected leader in physical therapy for 30 years, SCPT welcomed the opportunity to offer free 15-minute movement assessments to this year’s EXPO attendees.
“After the difficult winter that we’ve all endured, so many runners and golfers (myself included) are itching to get moving,” Cardin said. “Whether you’re a runner, golfer, gym enthusiast, or weekend warrior, we can help by evaluating your movements to minimize aches, pains, and problem areas – and keep you moving.”
For SCPT, the opportunity to make new connections within their patient service area was invaluable.
“South County [Physical Therapy, Inc.] was proud to participate in the Corridor Nine‘s Open for Business EXPO,” said Cathy Hoover-Smith, SCPT Founder and CEO. “One of the ways we give back to our communities is to offer free informational programs to area businesses. Our lunch and learn programs are well received by local organizations, and we look forward to sharing more about these programs with new contacts made at the EXPO.”
