WESTBOROUGH _ South County Physical Therapy, Inc. (SCPT), a recognized and expert leader in rehabilitative orthopedic and sports physical therapy care in Central Massachusetts, recently celebrated 30 years in business, with a team appreciation event for 60 staff members.
SCPT first opened its doors in Auburn, and has since grown to add convenient, highway-accessible locations in Charlton, Millbury, Westborough (East Main Street and Oak Street), and Worcester. Within the last 30 years, SCPT has treated thousands of patients and provided over 1 million patient visits.
“We are so truly proud of our history and growth within the last 30 years,” said SCPT CEO/Founder Catherine Hoover-Smith. “Our goal has always been, and will always be, to provide every patient with quality, personalized rehabilitative care in an environment that is safe, comfortable, and compassionate.”
“There is no other physical therapy organization in the region with more cumulative experience on staff,” Hoover-Smith added. “We are so proud of that, especially since the majority of our therapists have such longstanding tenure with our practice.”
On Friday, June 17, 2016, the SCPT team travelled by charter to take in the sights and sounds of Boston by scavenger hunt. SCPT’s staff members valued the opportunity to connect with their colleagues outside of the office, while working together to complete their scavenger hunt challenge.
After exploring the city, the SCPT team lunched at the Boston Marriott Long Wharf, located at 296 State Street.
“We wanted to take this opportunity to celebrate our milestone anniversary with our team,” said SCPT Executive Director Eric Cardin. “It is so important to come together as a team, to celebrate our efforts together, and to acknowledge what truly propels us to success for our patients – these amazing individuals who go above and beyond, every day.”
