WESTBOROUGH _ South County Physical Therapy, Inc. (SCPT) was proud to be a sponsor of the 31st Annual Corridor Nine School/Business Partnership Golf Tournament, with participants starting off their golf season in full swing, as well as raising funds for a wonderful cause. A portion of the proceeds from the Tournament funded scholarships for graduating high school seniors from the Chamber’s core towns of Westborough, Northborough, Southborough, and Shrewsbury.
The tournament took place at Juniper Hill Golf Course in Northborough on June 15th, with over 150 participants teeing off to raise money. SCPT provided each golfer with an insulated cooler bag, snacks, and a bottle of water.
“The Corridor Nine School/Business Partnership Golf Tournament was a huge success this year, and SCPT was proud to continue its sponsorship of this tournament for the fourth consecutive year, supporting education within our community. Education is fundamental to growth and development, and with the rising cost of college tuition each year, it’s important for organizations to get involved and help,” said SCPT Executive Director Eric Cardin. “SCPT is committed to supporting scholarship opportunities for local students through this partnership, and what better way to help, than to get the community together to compete in a game of golf for the day.”
SCPT offers its exclusive Fit for Golf™ program, which is designed based on your specific needs. This unique program begins with a physical assessment to create a personalized exercise program and to further determine any strength, structural, or flexibility issues that may be altering your swing. With summer just beginning, this is the perfect time for golfers to use this resource to enhance their golf performance.
As rehabilitation professionals, the SCPT team has a comprehensive understanding of how to apply their extensive knowledge and experience to the biomechanics of the body, improving the golf swing. SCPT is dedicated to helping patients with their goals, and this program has assisted hundreds of injured golfers in their return to the game, as well as those seeking to bring their game to the next level.
