The Treatment You Need, The Privacy and Respect You Deserve.

At South County Physical Therapy, physical therapists that specialize in pelvic floor dysfunction offer pelvic floor rehab services addressing the evaluation and treatment of incontinence issues and various pelvic pain conditions. Pelvic floor physical therapy focuses on the muscles of the pelvic floor and may include specific soft tissue or manual techniques to improve tissue and muscle function along the pelvic floor as well as therapeutic exercise to enhance muscle and core strength performance.

Our services are distinguished through the personalized treatment approach in the care of both men and women’s pelvic floor health needs. Treatment, which typically last 8-12 visits, will include a comprehensive evaluation at your first visit. We utilize a wide range of treatment modalities that may include biofeedback, exercise prescription, neuromuscular stimulation, patient education and functional training.

The therapist will review their findings and establish a care plan with you.

Follow up Visits: Visits are generally scheduled once a week with a therapist for an average of 8-10 sessions. Sessions usually run ~30 minutes. Due to the nature of the treatment and for your privacy and care, we strongly recommend not having minor children accompany your visit.
